Tech Alert

WVU Tech can now send urgent news to your cell phone (or your parent's cell phone). Once you sign up for the service, powered by e2Campus, we will be able to text your cell phone with timely information. Please note: Depending on your personal cell phone plan, there may be a nominal fee from your carrier to receive text messages, but WVU does not charge for this service.

Need to Update Your Information?

For current users you can access the service using your e2Campus login to update your information or add a second cell phone number using the separate login page.

New User?

Here's what you need to know:

For Students
Sign into MIX and click on the Emergency Alert System icon on the My Tech home page. You will then be prompted to sign-up for the service.

For Staff/Faculty
If you can wait until you're on-campus you can sign-up for the service without logging in with your MyID. Otherwise you can login below with your MyID username & password. If you don't know your MyID please see WVU OIT's MyID site. Tip: If you have a wireless account then that's your MyID username and password.

For Parents
Each student is allowed to have notices sent to two separate mobile devices. If you would like to receive alerts you should talk to your student about adding your cell phone number to their account.
